Barbara Ruffing

Barbara Ruffing loves children and spent her career teaching them. She lives in Rockwall, Texas with her husband, Ken. Together they enjoy spending time with their two amazing sons and lovely daughter-in-law. Barbara and Ken now travel to many nations doing mission work, sharing with both adults and children. Lucy and Her Boots was inspired during Barbara’s college years. Barbara Ruffing is an author with her first published children's book — a project years in the making, written with the tender hope of placing courage and kindness in the hands of small readers. Alongside the children's stories, Barbara writes poems and short articles designed to encourage individuals in their faith.
